Historique :	La peinture ancienne de la statue avait été recouverte d'un badigeon blanc. Le badigeon a actuellement disparu pour laisser place à une polychromie qui semble dater du 19e siècle. Vierge s'apparentant à celle de Vaudes (Aube) (d'après Koechlin Raymond, La sculpture du 14e et du 15e siècle dans la région de Troyes, Congrès archéologique de France, 1902, p. 252).
