Précision_sur la representation :	Saint-Eloi est représenté en maréchal-ferrant, corps de métier dont il est le saint patron. Il porte un tablier de protection et tient dans sa main droite un marteau. L'objet qu'il tient dans sa main gauche est difficile à identifier. Il est coiffé d'un chapeau à calotte souple et aux bords relevés duquel sa chevelure ondulée dépasse. Son visage imberbe dégage un aspect juvénile. Ses lèvres fines esquissent un léger sourire, de côté. Sur le billot ont été sculptés un fer à cheval, au centre, une tenaille, à droite et à gauche un boutoir.
