Description :	Le calcaire comprend des oolithes de grosses dimensions. La cuve est percée à plusieurs endroits. Fragments d'éléments de fer.

Historique :	L'église a été fondée par Jean III de Boutigny (mort en 1582) et sa femme Anne de saint Belin (morte vers 1583). Il s'agit alors de la chapelle de leur château. Les fondateurs obtiennent d'avoir un ciboire et des fonts baptismaux, d'où les armoiries gravées sur la cuve des fonts baptismaux. On retrouve les armes de Boutigny sur la statue de la Vierge de Pitié à l'église de Romaines.

Précision sur l'inscription :	Ecu losange, d'azur à 3 têtes de bélier d'argent, accornés d'or 2 et 1 : armes de Anne de Saint-Belin. Ecu chargé de six besants taillés moyen-relief (3 en chef, 2 en fasce et 1 en pointe) : certainement les armes de Jean de Boutigny.
